Not sure which course to take? Here is a very brief explanation of the career choices available to you:

Fashion Stylist A fashion stylist works primarily with editorial, retail, photography and entertainment clients. Occasionally working one-on-one with individual clients. Training and education slanted toward developing a strong visual sense, understand color, proportion and the principles and elements of design.

Image Consultant Works primarily with individual clients (private) on their appearance standards. Can go into niche markets and consult with corporate clients, do personal shopping, closet edits, wardrobe planning. Education and training slants toward understanding body shape, fit, tailoring, color, hair and personality traits.
